Chief Keef has been arrested and booked on robbery charges stemming from his role in an alleged home invasion in Los Angeles. According to a TMZ report, the incident happened last week, but after a search of his home in Tarzana, California, Keef was brought into custody along with his long-time collaborator Tadoe.
Ramsay The Great, a producer that’s worked with Keef in the past, is the alleged victim of the crime. Last week on social media, Ramsay posted several photos and videos to his Instagram, detailing the injuries he sustained during the incident. According to Ramsay, Keef and five of his friends showed up to his front door, AK-47 in tow, and began beating him. In one particular Instagram post, he chastised Keef for the way he went about settling whatever disagreement they had. “Now if I was a celebrity I wouldn’t come personally jump a person with your five friends and an AK-47 that’s just dumb you’re famous. Now I’m taking everything from you.” Later on in the post, Ramsay iterated that he would be pressing charges, a course of action that likely led to last night’s arrest.
Per TMZ, Keef is being held on $500,000 bail.
