Remember when Wale and J. Cole had beef for all of nine hours? After Cole seemingly took shots at Wale on “False Prophets,” Wale released “Groundhog Day” — a song admitting to his faults, attention toward critics and depression faced while perusing the music industry.

With brighter days ahead, Wale joins the common folk on Hollywood Blvd. taking pictures with unsuspecting fans, giving the infamous Hollywood Blvd. mixtape sellers a chance to rap and hitching a ride on a tour bus.

The video also features an extended version of the Jake One-produced song, with Wale adding a solid five minutes of rhymes and spoken word to further get his point across.

Check it out below and get ready for Wale’s upcoming album SHINE with his Lil Wayne collab, “Running Back.”
